My name is Georgie. I like movies and music. Talk to me about Buster Keaton, Shinya Tsukamoto, and the Legendary Pink Dots (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

I ASSURE YOU I AM REAL!! my favs for dead comedians are buster (obvi), chaplin, marx bros,…

laurel and hardy yes!! how could i forget..it’s been a long time since i’ve watched any of their stuff. love einstürzende neubauten and some legendary pink dots. my favs will always be the cure, depeche, new order, bauhaus, kraftwerk, joy division, klaus nomi, gary numan…  i need to get into more obscure stuff tho. maybe you could recommend some?

shit yes, all a++ bands 10/10. i’m newish to kraftwerk but adore trans europa express and die mensch-maschine. have you heard anything by das kabinette yet? liaisons dangereuses, die form, and tuxedomoon are all gr8 too

ohh thank you i will look those up for sure! i’m only familiar with a little bit of lpd and edward ka-spel.. but i’m def in a committed relationship with “altered state.” lol

also you apparently like hiroshi teshigahara too the face of another is incredible. are you into seijun suzuki at all? “altered state” just makes my face melt.

Oh, where do I begin. The first silent comedy I watched was with Buster Keaton, and I fell in love immediately. Lately digging Ray Milland a lot. Peter Lorre is God. And I grew up on late 70’s/80’s punk, post punk music…

you never go wrong with peter. ever. also there are lots of important ppl named peter: peter lorre, peter cushing, peter murphy.  i envy your musical pedigree too :’) (though the cure were one of the earliest bands i can remember being played in my house aside from like, foghat and poco so i guess i fared pretty well)

That’s not Chico!

(It’s actually a double because Chico had been injured in a car accident during Horsefeathers so they had a double running around the field.

I don’t even think that’s the same hat.)
